Trolls Poppy Fondant Cake Topper

Trolls... I was in my fifth grade when I got my first toy keychain Trolls. It was way back 1994 as far as I remember when these trolls became popular. Making this topper is not that bad. For sure you can easily follow the instructions.

So Let's get started.

Things you'll need:

1. Fondant ( Dark pink, pink, blue, green, white and black)

2. Rolling pin

3. Pizza Cutter

4. Knife

5. Smoother

6. Piping tip (round)

7. Flower cutter

8. Fondant tools

Instructions:

Roll the pink fondant and form it into round or head shape.

Roll a dark pink small fondant and form it into nose like in the photo.

To make the eyes, roll white fondant and cut out 2 circles using the piping tip. Roll black fondant and cut out tiny circles. and lastly roll black fondant into thin logs for Poppy's lashes.

Use water to glue things together.

Roll dark pink into small logs, these are the eye brows. Using the fondant tool, make a mouth like so in the photo.

Glue everything.

Roll dark pink fondant and make some logs or strips. These will be the troll's hair.

Roll the pink fondant into small balls.

Press on the center using the fodnant tools, these are the ears.

Put ears using brush and water.

Roll pink fondant into a triangular shape like so in the photo. Roll dark pink into logs or spagetti shape. These are the troll's hair.

Glue the logs (spagetti) all around the triangular base, until you form a nice troll hair.

Put in tooth pick in between troll's hair and head. This will support the entire head. Then roll green fondant and form like logs, these will be the head band.

Roll blue fondant and cut out flowers, use the flower cutter.

Glue the flower to the head band.

Now for the body, roll pink fondant and form like a body (triangular shape). Roll blue fondant for the dress like so in the photo. Roll green fondant, and cut the sides using the piping tip. Lastly form blue fondan to make the dress collar.

Stick tooth pick between the head and body.

Roll light pink fondant, then form the hands and feet.

Glue the hands and feet. And there you have it, Trolls Poppy!
